This Is Not An Agency.
This Is Not An Agency.
This is not a lab or a studio.
It’s a provocation. A publishing space. A curatorial practice.
It offers rigor without obedience. Inquiry without assimilation.
Poshlust. is a space for what doesn’t yet have a name.
It invites you to stay with the trouble. To invent methodologies.
To reroute legitimacy. To make research more porous, more poetic, more public.
What is Poshlust.
A curatorial project born of refusal.
Refusal to check the boxes we’re trained to tick.
Refusal of disciplines that flatten, segment, and contain.
Refusal of the question: “Where do you fit?”
Founded by Dr. Andrea Kunze—an interdisciplinary researcher working across psychology, philosophy, and design—poshlust. emerged from the friction of not quite belonging.
Too philosophical for social science.
Too scientific for the arts.
Too critical to play nice.
Too serious to be sweet.
If the system can’t hold us, we build otherwise.
At Poshlust., we gather the misfits, the hybrids, the cyborgs.
The ones who write, teach, research, and create in ways that resist neat containers.
We draw from rhizomes and hauntologies, from cyborgs and counterpublics—models that blur boundaries and reroute power.
We’re not here to polish work to meet someone else’s standards.
We’re here to publish the work that rewrites the standards entirely.
Poshlust. is transparent.
Poshlust. is self-funded and independently maintained.
The costs behind the scenes — domain, web hosting, zine production, printing, research materials — come out of pocket or are sustained through occasional grants, collaborations, and community support.
Annual baseline costs include:
Website + domain: ~$275
Digital tools (storage, design, subscriptions): ~$180/year
Printing + shipping: ~$50–150/project
This work is a labor of love — and labor still.
